PrEP at the DC Pharmacy
The DC Pharmacy has a strong background in PrEP care. Founder Hans Smit worked closely with the PrEP.nu organization to negotiate an affordable price for PrEP in the Netherlands by engaging with pharmaceutical manufacturers. Thanks to these efforts, PrEP is now available for just €39 per month at our pharmacy, including processing fees—the lowest price ever in the Netherlands. You can choose between bottles or strip packages.

The unique collaboration between DC Pharmacy and the HIV treatment centre in Amsterdam ensures that PrEP care is available in one convenient location. The HIV treatment centre provides information and conducts the necessary tests before you start. You can pick up your medication directly from DC Pharmacy. The center also offers follow-up support and guidance on treatment adherence.

DC Pharmacy has launched a nationwide collaboration with doctors to make PrEP accessible across the Netherlands. Visit www.prep-direct.nl to find the quickest route to a clinic near you for the required health tests. If you qualify, you’ll receive your PrEP every month, delivered for free at the same low price as in DC Pharmacy.
Using the DC pharmacy
As a patient, you have the right to choose your own pharmacy. This means you don’t have to switch pharmacies completely to benefit from DC Pharmacy’s services.
Simply inform your healthcare provider that you’d like to receive (some of) your medication through DC Pharmacy. After a one-time registration, just indicate which services you’d like to use, and our team will take care of the rest.
